JOB SUMMARY

 

Responsible to the Head of Export Sales for organizing, implementing, and controlling certificate of origin (COO) activities in export operations in compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and relevant laws; ensuring accuracy and timeliness to improve customer satisfaction and service quality.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Develop departmental plans covering key activities, cost budgeting, and human resources.

  2. Implement activities to research regional and international market information; regularly monitor developments in Vietnam’s trade negotiations with other countries.

  3. Analyze signed Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to build a database for certificate of origin (COO) operations, and advise relevant departments on import tariff rates in FTA markets to support sales quotation activities.

  4. Organize the implementation and supervise staff operations in applying the provisions of each FTA, as well as relevant regulations and circulars issued by government authorities in the certification of origin for exported goods.

  5. Organize the development and management of databases, ensuring information availability for certificate of origin (COO) issuance as well as post-clearance audits by authorities.

  6. Collaborate with relevant departments to plan the origin of raw materials, production norms, and product value in order to maximize preferential benefits and deliver the greatest value to customers.

  7. Serve as the key liaison with authorities (e.g., MOIT, VCCI) on COO matters and lead compliance audits. Represent the company in COO applications, ensuring full regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with authorities for verification and site inspections when required.

  8. Authorize and sign COO certificates and application dossiers submitted to authorities; manage and maintain the company’s trader account in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  9. Prepare and consolidate COO management reports for submission to relevant authorities and internal reporting lines; proactively propose solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of COO operations

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related economic fields

2. Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in export

  • At least 2 years in a similar role in large-scale manufacturing companies
