High-capacity cold storage system
Freshly extracted raw milk is rapidly transported to the nearest processing facility. After undergoing stringent quality control procedures, the milk is stored in stainless steel chilled tanks at 4ºC for a maximum of 5 hours. These stainless steel tanks represent the largest milk storage capacity in Vietnam, with each tank capable of holding up to 150,000 liters (equivalent to over 1,450 metric tons of fresh milk).
Advanced bacterial separators
From the chilled tanks, raw milk is transferred to a state-of-the-art centrifugal separation system. This technology effectively removes harmful bacteria and microbial spores while preserving the milk’s full nutritional profile and natural flavor.
Cutting-edge UHT sterilization technology
The ultra-high temperature (UHT) sterilization system heats the milk to 140ºC, followed by rapid cooling to 25ºC. This process ensures the retention of natural taste, essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Aseptic filling technology
Post-sterilization, the milk is stored in sterile tanks and awaits aseptic filling. The entire production and packaging process is completed within 12 hours, ensuring that 100% of Vinamilk’s fresh milk is extracted and packaged on the same day.
6-month freshness without preservatives
Thanks to advanced processing technologies, including UHT sterilization and aseptic filling, Vinamilk products maintain their fresh taste for up to 6 months—completely free from preservatives.

Pallet Transportation
Autonomously transports finished product pallets to the smart warehouse system, ensuring seamless logistics and inventory flow.
Material Delivery
Efficiently delivers rolls of packaging film and other packing materials directly to production machines, supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Automated Battery Charging
Automatically recharges its battery when power is low-no human intervention required, enabling continuous operation and minimizing downtime.

The largest smart warehouse system in Vietnam

Vinamilk is the pioneer in developing Vietnam’s first and largest smart warehouse, spanning 6,000 square meters, with a length of 105 meters, a height of 35 meters, and equipped with 17-tier racking systems and 20 inbound/outbound lanes, offering a total storage capacity of nearly 30,000 pallet positions.

Fully Automated Inbound and Outbound Operations:

- 15 Rail Guided Vehicles (RGVs): Fully automated vehicles that transport finished product pallets into the warehouse.

- 8 Stacker Cranes: 100% automated robotic cranes that place pallets into the racking system with precision.

- Wamas Warehouse Management Software: All inventory and logistics operations are managed through the advanced Wamas software platform, ensuring real-time tracking, accuracy, and efficiency.

Tetra Plant Master

100% automated factory operations

Vinamilk utilizes the Tetra PlantMaster automation solution to enable full integration and connectivity across the entire factory—from raw material intake to finished product output. This centralized system allows Vinamilk to monitor, control, and optimize all factory operations in real time, ensuring continuous quality assurance and operational efficiency.

 

The Tetra PlantMaster system also provides comprehensive data insights, empowering the factory to continuously improve production performance and maintenance processes.

 

Additionally, the Wamas warehouse management system is seamlessly integrated with Vinamilk’s ERP platform and the Tetra PlantMaster automation solution, creating a unified and streamlined operational flow. This integration supports end-to-end processes—from production planning and raw material intake to finished goods dispatch—across the entire company.
