On the August 10th, 2015, Vinamilk held the groundbreaking ceremony of a high-quality dairy farm network at Yen Dinh district, Thanh Hoa province, the biggest agricultural project in the locality so far.  These dairy farms have a capacity of 16 thousand head cows with the charter capital of VND1.6 trillion (73.3 million USD).

The network of the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) will group four farms covering a total area of 2,500 hectares in the district of Ngoc Lac, Tho Xuan, Cam Thuy, Yen Dinh.

After finishing construction, 16 thousand head of cattle will imported from Australia and the US with the figure potentially increasing to 24 thousand heads in phase II of the project. 

The network is set to apply the world’s most modern dairy farming technology to ensure local environmental hygiene with the system farming, grass warehouse, agricultural cultivation area for the milk processing and another supporting works.

Once operational in 2017, the farms are set to produce 36 million litres of milk annually and create job for over 1,000 people with average turnover about VND5 million per month.
