Search Engine Optimization Manager - SEO Manager

The Digital Marketing team within the Strategy & Innovation office owns digital marketing strategy & execution (demand generation, growth, and performance) for brands across sales channels (online, retail, offline), across all areas related to acquisition, engagement & retention, and analytics, across channels: content, paid media, paid social, web, email, or SMS. 

1. Main Responsibilities 

•   Identify critical SEO key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly basis with a focus on e-commerce sales 

•   Conduct a comprehensive website audit covering all aspects ranging from technical factors to on-page and off-page elements 

•   Conduct extensive keyword research and analysis 

•   Devise strategies for entity building, site structure, schema, on-page optimization, and off-page optimization techniques, such as link building, PBN, and social stacks 

•   Monitor SEO performance and identify potential risks regularly 

•   Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices 

•   Partner with the Content/Marketing team to develop a keyword list and content strategy for website, blog, and PBN (if any) 

•   Collaborate closely with the Product team to ensure all necessary features are available for the CMS 

•   Cooperate with the Developer team to identify and fix technical issues and optimize the website 

•   Identify, negotiate with, and collaborate with an external SEO agency if deemed necessary 

•   Provide regular and standardized reports on website performance and SEO initiatives 

2. Basic Qualifications 

•   Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Engineering, Marketing 

•   Excellent communicator (both written & verbal) and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inspire new design executions 

•   Excellent at research ability 

•   A great storyteller with a strong consumer instinct 

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

•   Agility, able to operate successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment. 

•   A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach. 

•   A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 

•   Relevant working experience for at least 3 years 

•   Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 

•   Agile in using new tools: Semrush, Content AI generator 

•   Proven SEO experience 


3. Preferred Qualifications 

•   Direct experience building a digital marketing capability from scratch 

•   Direct Experience in CPG industry
